With the thermometer dipping down to freezing temps across much of the country over the last week, we were inspired to feature a cocktail that is sure to warm your body as well as your taste buds. Since it’s only mid-November, we’re celebrating the flavors of the season with a simple, well-balanced concoction that shares the subtle taste of pumpkin spice with lemon, Cointreau and rum.
For this drink we used our popular 8 year aged Merchant’s Reserve Rum which is the perfect blend of rums from Jamaica and Martinique. Its unique flavor profile and ability to mix well with a variety of ingredients make it a natural choice for any rum-forward cocktail, especially those being enjoyed on a cold fall day. Be sure to whip this one up and let us know what you think.
